Workability Alliance

Training Program

Who Are We?

Workability Alliance is a 9-week hands-on training program specifically designed for young adults in the neurodivergent community seeking to gain experience in order to secure employment in the food service and retail industries. Our proprietary and innovative program is the perfect opportunity to gain the experience and skills necessary to thrive in the workplace.

Where Are We Located?

All training will take place at The POST, 101 South Broadway Street in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Food Service

The POST features a revolutionary ice cream and coffee concept, Do It Yum, dedicated to neurodivergent workforce development. This innovative space provides trainees with culinary experience in dessert decoration and presentation through specialties like ice cream swirls, cakes, sandwiches, and tacos. Trainees will also learn the art of creating coffee delicacies, boba, and smoothies. Our hands-on training program integrates point-of-sale cash handling, professional customer service, food safety protocols, and daily custodial maintenance. These and many more skills gained through our program fully prepare our trainees for future success in the food service industry.

Retail

The POST also features a vibrant retail boutique showcasing gifts and artisanal pieces from local makers and consignors. This space serves as an immersive training environment where students develop versatile retail and business operation skills. In addition to mastering professional customer service and point-of-sale cash handling, students gain valuable hands-on experience in visual merchandising, maintaining clean and organized displays, and managing inventory restocking. By actively working with local creators and managing consignor relationships, trainees build the foundational communication and organizational skills necessary for long-term career success.

What Are the Costs?

Enrollment in our training program is $1,200 per month. To ensure a spot in the cohort, tuition must be paid in full prior to the first day of instruction. Trainees attend hands-on learning sessions for 3 hours per day, 3 days a week. Please note that consistent attendance is vital. A professional Certificate of Completion will be awarded only to students who successfully fulfill the entire 9-week course.
