Bridging Community Resources
At Workability Alliance, we know that creating lasting employment opportunities requires an ecosystem of support. We would love to collaborate with fellow nonprofits, human service organizations, and local training programs to maximize our collective impact, but it doesn’t stop there. We are always looking for new ways to help bridge the gap for our neurodivergent community. This involves building acceptance, improving accessibility, and creating welcoming spaces. By working together, we can shorten the path to foundational community support for the neurodivergent community.
What Does an Inclusive Community Look Like?
An inclusive community is one where local organizations don’t operate in isolation, but instead work together to build a continuous ecosystem of support. At Workability Alliance, we believe true inclusion happens when we blend our resources to open doors for neurodivergent young adults.
Below are some ways your organization can help shape our inclusive community:
Direct Program Referrals: Do you host a program or support for the neurodivergent community? Let’s talk about how we can partner to provide your participants with real-world skills through our training program.
Shared Training Resources: Do you have experience in this field? Collaborate with us on curriculum enhancements, specialized workshop hosting, or joint educational initiatives.
Cross-Organizational Networking: Join forces on community advocacy, public awareness campaigns, and regional inclusion events to shift perspectives.
Civic & Faith-Based Engagement: Rally your church group, civic club, or service organization to volunteer, host a community awareness event, or sponsor a trainee's tuition.
I’d like to connect!
